About these terms
These Terms & Conditions form an agreement between you and Sthira's Bake Studio, a home-based bakery operating in Bengaluru, Karnataka. By using this website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
You must be legally capable of entering into a contract. If you order for another person, you confirm that you have authority to provide their delivery details and accept these terms on their behalf.
Products, ingredients and allergens
Our products are freshly prepared in small batches. Photographs are illustrative; handmade decoration, colour and finish may vary slightly. Product availability and recipes may change, and an item shown online may occasionally become unavailable.
Eggless options are prepared without egg ingredients, but our kitchen also handles eggs, milk, gluten, nuts and other allergens. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. Tell us about allergies before ordering; customers with severe allergies should contact us before purchase.
Prices, taxes and quantities
Prices are shown in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable GST. The checkout shows the GST component included in product and, where applicable, delivery prices. A struck-through amount is a comparison price; you pay the displayed discounted price.
Delivery charges and the final payable total are shown before payment. We validate the product, variant, quantity, price, tax and delivery charge on our server. If the catalog changes after an item enters your cart, the current validated details apply at checkout.
Orders and payment
Adding an item to your cart does not reserve it. An order is created when you proceed to payment and is confirmed only after payment is successfully verified. We may decline or cancel an order for unavailable products, incorrect pricing, suspected fraud, an unserviceable address or circumstances outside reasonable control. If we cancel a paid order, we will initiate the appropriate refund.
Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not receive or store your complete card, UPI PIN or banking credentials. Payment completion can sometimes be delayed; check your order history or contact us before attempting a duplicate payment.
Delivery dates and addresses
Orders may be placed on any day, but delivery is offered only on dates enabled on the website. You must select an available delivery date before adding items. Delivery is limited to supported Bengaluru PIN codes and is subject to capacity, weather, traffic and access conditions.
You are responsible for an accurate recipient name, phone number and complete address. Someone must be available to receive the order. If delivery fails because the address or contact details are incorrect, access is unavailable, or the recipient cannot be reached, redelivery may be unavailable or may require an additional charge.
Changes, cancellations and refunds
Our goods are perishable and baked to order. Contact us as early as possible if you need a change or cancellation. A request is not accepted until we confirm it. Once ingredients have been procured or preparation has begun, cancellation or modification may not be possible.
Cancellation does not automatically create a refund. Approved refunds are initiated by an administrator through Razorpay to the original payment method. A refund may cover selected items, selected quantities and, when approved, the delivery charge. Refunds use the amount actually paid, including its embedded GST—not the comparison price. Bank processing time is outside our control.
Incorrect, damaged or quality-affected orders
Inspect the order promptly at delivery. If an item is missing, incorrect, damaged or materially different from the confirmed order, contact us as soon as reasonably possible with the order number, description and clear photographs. Keep the affected product and packaging until we respond. We will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate replacement, credit or refund where justified.
Website use and intellectual property
You must not misuse the website, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, submit false information or use automated methods that disrupt service. The website, branding, logo, photographs, product descriptions and original content belong to Sthira's Bake Studio or their respective licensors and may not be commercially reused without written permission.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss caused by inaccurate customer information, or delay caused by events outside reasonable control. Our responsibility for a particular order will ordinarily not exceed the amount paid for that order.
Governing law, complaints and updates
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer rights and dispute-resolution forums, courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction. We may update these terms for operational or legal reasons. The version published when you place an order applies to that order unless a change is required by law.
